As Vice President of Recruitment for Delta Zeta at NC State University, I led the planning and execution of both spring and primary fall recruitment, shaping how our chapter was presented to potential new members. I organized and executed tabling events in both the fall and spring focused on our philanthropy, the Starkey Hearing Foundation, as well as Panhellenic wide showcases, creating meaningful first impressions while highlighting our values and community.
During fall recruitment, we saw over 700 potential new members. I oversaw the full process from start to finish. I planned and directed Spirit Week, developed recruitment themes, and led the creative direction for events and decorations to ensure a cohesive experience. I worked closely with the executive board and led the Invitations Committee, made up of one representative from each pledge class, to communicate and guide decision making throughout recruitment. Training over 130 members on recruitment techniques, focusing on communication, connection, and representing the chapter in an authentic way, which resulted in 61 new members joining the chapter.
This role allowed me to combine creativity, leadership, and teamwork - bringing together branding, organization, and storytelling to create a recruitment experience that felt both meaningful and memorable.
